Getting From Here to There

Getting from here to there can be so much fun! The children got to investigate my truck, checking out the engine, tires, windshield wipers, etc. They had so many questions about how vehicles operate. Next time I'll have a mechanic on hand! For boat day they learned the importance of working as a team while they rowed a "boat" together, they loved eating their egg and cheese boats for snack and reading about the little tugboats so eager to help others. What a great week!

Counting cars, planes, and trains. Sorting and matching all the methods of transportation. Racing around in their "cars". Wow- 2 inches! The Car Wash- this is just the beginning of what turned into a cleaning free-for-all. Race cars. A little quiet book time after all that racing and car washing. Learning all the letters in our names. Learning how boats float (and what doesn't float). Does it sink or float? They had lots of fun floating and sinking many different objects and of course getting wet in the process.

  1. I'm sooo thankful for this blog. Sometimes Boston will tell me what you did in preschool and other days he says very little. So its nice to put the pieces together of what he tells me goes on...it all starts to make more sense! Thank you for doing such a great job with them. Boston LOVES preschool!!
